Local‑first, offline‑capable, open source, no subscription.
Why we build it
Most business software assumes reliable broadband, a recent machine, and a payment card that can carry a monthly subscription. Where any one of those is missing, capable people are locked out of ordinary business tooling for reasons that have nothing to do with capability.
That is a market before it is a cause. We would rather be early in it than fashionable about it.

The same discipline, at smaller stakes
What would falsify the claim that these tools help anyone? We intend to define that, measure it, and publish the method alongside the result.
We have not measured it yet. So we are not claiming it.
Structure and contributing
900 Open is planned to sit in a separate foundation or association, outside the fund. No fund capital is deployed to it.
